The hotel was in a prime location, perfect for exploring downtown activities and enjoying the city's fabulous restaurants. The rooms, while slightly small, were clean and well furnished, catering to the traveler's needs. Service was exceptional, with a special touch of generosity shown during our stay. Dining offered a nice continental breakfast but fell short of being exceptional. Overall, it's a convenient and welcoming choice for touring historic Charleston.

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were smaller than expected, with a view of huge HVAC units, and the hallway rugs looked tired and worn. However, the bathroom was stunning and spacious, featuring expansive brick walls that added character to the room. The overall cleanliness left something to be desired.
Rooms

The room was much smaller than advertised and with a disappointing view of HVAC units. The bathroom, on the other hand, was gorgeous and huge.

My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, though spacious, had issues with controlling temperature, hot water, and evening light. However, the room had a cozy setup with a marble fireplace but lacked windows. The faint smell of gas was a downside, along with minor housekeeping issues. Service from the staff was top-notch, especially Mark, who was always attentive and helpful. The location was ideal for exploring the city on foot, being close to attractions and restaurants. The dining experience was a highlight, though the facilities had room for improvement.

The hotel has a great location near all the French Quarter has to offer, making it easy to explore and enjoy the area. The rooms, unfortunately, were not as expected due to early morning noise from rubbish trucks and lack of a closet. Despite some shortcomings, the service was outstanding with attention to every detail, and the breakfast offering was over the top with a variety of delicious items. If the noise issues were addressed, I would consider staying again.

Staying at the Art Vendue was an amazing experience overall. The interior King room we had was small but comfortable with a queen bed, a big walking shower, and all the amenities needed. The building's age may contribute to a slight musty smell, particularly noticeable in the corner suite with its expansive brick walls.
